A comprehensive set of worksheets covering a variety of subjects can be used to expand your child's learning experience. A worksheet about shapes can be used as part of a game to find shapes around the house, counting worksheets can be used to count things you see in the grocery store and so on. Almost everything you do with your child can be turned into an opportunity to learn - and worksheets can give you the guidance you need to find those opportunities.
The next step is learning to write numbers, and this is where mathematics worksheets become almost a necessity. Unless you have great handwriting, lots of spare time and a fair amount of patience, writing worksheets will help you teach this valuable skill to your child. Dot-to-dot, tracing, following the lines and other writing exercises will help your child learn how to write numbers. A good set of worksheets will include practice sheets with various methods to help your child learn to write numbers.
Early training is easier and faster. To illustrate, if you shape clay while it is still soft, it will be easier and flexible, similarly the child's young brain is easy to mold. We can start training them while they are still inside the mother's womb. And when the child is born his brain is ready to learn. Child fast development takes place during the first year after his birth. He starts to recognize movements, sounds, shapes, colors, and even counts. So if you develop your child earlier the result will be better. kindergarten will be too late
Quality worksheets for preschool can help you with a lot more than just academics. For example, once your child starts kindergarten, they will be expected to sit still and complete tasks for about 15 to 20 minutes at a time. If your child is used to doing a worksheet or two, they will be able to do this quite easily, and will understand that they need to complete the task before they can move on to the next activity. Worksheets also help your child to learn how to follow instructions, and teach them about following rules.
I'm not saying that if you don't train your child during these early years will totally be a failure. No child is born a genius, and none is born a fool. Other children have inherited skills and talents from their parents that contribute to their confidence as they grow up. Others too who were not pre-schooled can learn things easily. But there's a big difference in stimulating the child's brain during their early years than not at all.
Worksheets that include topics such as social and natural science will help to expand your child's horizons, teaching them about their environment and how things work, while improving their vocabulary at the same time. A worksheet about farm animals can initiate a visit to the farm area at the zoo, or to a real farm, where your child can explore and learn even more.
